I'm happy to wait for the reg and can live without the foil, unless it's the right price/trade. I had a feeling that Ansin would kill this.
Always happy to see Ansin tackle a classic, even if his skill at hitting likeness is not as necessary with anime. Think Ansin's love of building the composition around a full character shot shines with this one, and the color is great. Hoping for a reg eventually!

If you don't like anime, dunno if it'll change your mind. But if you're at least ambivalent about it, this was one of the big bridges that brought the format to America and is one of the precursors to several other sci-fi films like The Matrix. Always worth watching if only because it's a classic like Akira.
