Being one of his best and being one of your favorites - don't have to be the same.

It's this and Ghost Ship at the top 2 for me.

This is his best imagery he's created since The Elk Guard back in 2010 (obviously just imo, according to my personal taste). Those 2 and Jabberwock are my personal favorites of his. Well done, Daniel.

Is this title a reference to some movie I haven't seen? Because the print looks cool, and I don't want to grab one and then find out it's from some goddamn Joss Whedon thing or something :)

Pretty sure it's not popular culture, if that's what you're worried about. :P

I think it is from the surprise ending to Flowers in the Attic.

Friendly reminder to anyone not at Mondocon who wants one of these...

150 more are going to be dropped online next month! So don't get too trigger happy with any of the ones on Ebay. :D

Incest apparently gives you glowey house-destroying powers. You heard it here first, folks.

:(

It's one of my more odder titles, certainly not accessible, but it's exactly what I want in a title; lyrical and a suggestive part of a larger narrative.

Check out the TME thread, I don't remember where, but DD goes into detail about the imagery, it's definitely personal and not pop culture in any way.

I got a lot of confused people asking "...I don't recognize this? What's it from?" at MondoCon, which was followed by me explaining that it's just normal art and is from my brain.
