Nice to see he made a print of this. The painting at the art alliance show in Chicago was super impressive in person...

Picked one up. He dropped his last two prints significantly earlier than when he said he would on both occasions.

Yeah, I think it went up about 40-45 minutes early.

I screwed up the time zones and ended up logging into the site 45 minutes early by mistake. Dumb luck had me looking at the site at the right time to make my first Cleon Peterson print purchase. Excited to finally have one of his prints. It a great entry level print as the imagery is not overly gruesome as some of his work tends to be.

I completely agree. I've seen previous work/drops via Shep's prodding, but the truth is the violence isn't for me. I was interested when I read the Juxtapoz this month and then checked out his old work online. Then I saw this release was coming up and had similar thoughts. This was also the Jux cover piece for subscribers, so there's that too. But really... who doesn't love GOLD. A winner on many fronts for both art lovers and flippers!

But not shipped Priority. When I check the tracking on mine it has said "delivery status not updated" for the last week. Tracking started on September 16th. And now 10 days later I'm still waiting. Granted I'm on the East Coast but USPS really sucks. HAs anyone received their print yet?

Mine still says pre shipment info received. When I emailed they just said the post told them sometimes they don't get scanned. Kinda crummy to pay $15 for non priority shipping

I would have been happier to pay a little more for the shipping if they would in fact send it Priority. The longer it's in the hands of the USPS the more likely the package gets dented or damaged. I've had 2 bad experiences with the USPS in the last year alone with prints.

I'm quite surprised by this. I find when shipping prints the difference between a 1lb tube going Standard Post vs. Priority Mail was about $.20. Not to mention shipping Priority includes $50 of free insurance. Has to be an oversight?

Edit: Yeah I just checked on USPS.com. A 1lb parcel going from L.A. to N.Y.C. is $7.15 Priority 2-Day vs $6.73 Standard Rate.

I dont know whats worse, being charged $15 for shipping and not getting the package yet or having to pay because they didnt put enough money on the paypal label.

OOF!
Same fudge, different drop.

Mine arrived in 2 days. Preferred it over the $30 signature required UPS route from his last release.
