My all-time favorite guilty-pleasure film that I have zero guilt about. Wish I had known about this! Great job/congrats to those involved!

Point Break is my favourite film and I've wanted a print for it since I first started collecting movie posters.
So happy to have been a part of this commission and really pleased with how it turned out :pint:

I actually know some of the camera operators working on Point Break 2....kinda looking forward to that film.

They have called up a lot of the best surfers on the planet for the stunts and the water footage is supposed to be nuts...Mavericks in Cali and i think some of Teahupoo in Tahiti....
I know there was some 2nd Unit footage being shot last season at Jaws (Peahi) over here.

yeah, some of my friends were there filming that part...some stunt with Rush Randle dropping onto a boat (or being picked up off of one, i forget) by helicopter during a monster swell at Peahi....didnt Dorian get that incredible barrel that day? (what day doesn't he?) 8)

do you live on Maui? I lived there for five years and loved every second of it...had to move home to Florida for family reasons but not a day goes by that I don't think of the waves, whales, and women of Maui....i lived in Kihei working as a dive master but was ready to move upcountry before i had to leave. Still have many close friends there, some of the nicest and closest live in Kipahulu, freakin heaven on earth that place, especially once you're accepted and shown around by the locals.

Most commissions fall short, but not this one.

Great movie poster.

This one turned out really well. Fosdike was really into doing a lot of the suggestions brought to the table during the layout process and things have gone very well since. Cant wait to get this one in person.
