Im just Going to see Guardians again, nothing else opens this weekend. I remember liking Ninja Turtles as a kid and still have alot of figures, but It did not translate to adult hood interest for me.
First one was great. 2nd and 3d sucked too but were at least entertaining and enjoyable to watch. The fourth was torture.MatchsMalone wrote:It took you until the fourth one to lose faith?Ainshol wrote:Lightagami wrote:We'll probably get a TMNT poster this week....
Let's hope not. The movie looks terrible. After TF4, I've lost faith in Bay.

But Hollywood has to go and do what Hollywood always does—break fudge that was in perfect condition.matowest wrote:Yeah, there's something definitely off-putting about how the turtles look now. Some weird design choices there. I'm not entirely sure why they needed redesigning. A simple update would have been sufficient.

Usually not a fan of his latest works but I really liked Pain & Gain.

When I'm done ranting about elite power that rules the planet under a totalitarian government that uses the media to keep people stupid, my throat gets parched. That's why I drink Orange Drink. - BH

I hated Bad Boys 2. Thought it was atrocious. At least I soft of enjoyed Bad Boys, although I'm in no hurry to watch it again. Did not catch Pain & Gain. Problem is, more often than not, I come away disappointed by whatever film Michael Bay puts out, and with so little time nowadays to catch new releases (kids and all), I tend to steer clear of his work unless reviews are very positive.Kerrick wrote:How about Bad Boys 2?Count wrote:The only Michael Bay movie that has any rewatchability for me is The Rock. Saw TMNT last week. Not nearly as bad as you think. Not nearly as good as the first movie. Megan absolutely sucks as April(no surprise there), the cg is way distracting at times, specially with Splinter, the plot is generic, and their origin?, well I'll let you be the judge. Oh and Donny sounds like a girl Pros: they kept the turtles funny and their traits are still intact. Shredder is quite cool contrary to most expectations, and the fights are the best in the franchise. Would I see it again? Probably not

I feel like there may have been a fun movie buried in that runtime. About 2 hours in I was wishing the "Seed" would be dropped on my theater. There was no reason that movie needed to be almost 3 hours.Cinlabyrinth wrote:im the only human on earth that had a good time at TF4.
Haven't seen any of the Transformers movies and prolly never will. Last watchable Bay movie was The Island. Didn't care for Pain and Gain.
