Had Westbrook Mexican Cake tonight for my friends birthday and its really good. Dark Lord 2013 and 2014 coming next week, cant wait.

Vanilla Rye would get my money. Won't try for them though. Not willing to camp out for beer, which is what you have to do in order to get BCBS here.

Yeah, it was great! Very prominent coffee flavor. Quite the transition from Pliny, haha.

The bar my roommate works at tapped a keg of the Cantillion Classic Gueuze last Monday. Needless to say, we were first in line.

Had a helluva beer day yesterday.

First, headed down to Boyle Heights for my first trip to Ramirez. Here's the haul:

Afterwards I was invited for "chips and dips" at a neighbor's house - without even knowing that it was apparently a CIGAR CITY TASTING NIGHT

pay via paypal, use credit card,file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

Bear in mind - only that top photo reflects the selection at Ramirez. The other stuff was all hauled out of private collections.

How much were they charging for that fudge? Never seen that Left Hand Milk Stout out here either.
