can someone confirm, tariff 9702.00.0000 for Norway, results in no fees? duty calculator lists it as that.

But it's not "one over on the taxman" !

Those buggers are not following their own guidelines and are systematically fleecing the general public who are not gen-ed up (like you now are) on what the import rates are.

Your just one little guy in this great big machine and they overcharged you £30 on one transaction , imagine what they are getting countrywide on what they are not entitled to......

I got caught out about 4 months ago with UPS , they put at 20% charge on (asperbloodynormal) , But I wasn't in the pub to challenge it with my normal telephone them and give me a "H" number method.

So I did it over the phone for delivery the next day , and The woman on the phone scrubbed ALL charges as an appology for delivery the next day, only the bloody driver ignored the new notice on the tube and my missus accepted it , she was ignorant of the troubles we all face and handed over the 20% (£18).

Cut a long story short , they were full of apologies but it still took over 3 months to get my money back from them.

First successful claim and got 56 squid back. I sent the form to yon customs fellas and within 4 days I had a letter telling me my cheque is en route.
