I while back, I came on here and implored people to see James Gray's The Immigrant, a film that I think is kind of a masterpiece and had its theatrical distribution completely bungled by the Weinstein company.

It hit Netflix streaming today. Again, it's well worth your time.

My Gravity arrived today! Just plain black vinyl... but finally got it! And the inside of the gatefold is gorgeous.

James Gray is an amazing director, I find his movies extremely compelling.
He comes from a Russian family who immigrated to the US. Both as a "result" and a very conscious choice, his movies are highly influenced by the sense of community immigrants would have, the weight of the family and the idea of exodus.

You probably heard about a few of his movies : http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0336695/

I am quite possibly beside myself with excitement to watch The Immigrant. Two Lovers is one of my favourite films and has my favourite performance in a film.

Yeah, that's... Well, I guess the distribution wasn't the only thing they bungled then.

:vomit:

I promise the film itself is absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah there haven't been many good ones this year. Way more bad/neutral than good.
