Here's the banned 'Sin City' sequel poster the MPAA doesn't want you to see.
A new poster for the upcoming "Sin City" sequel featuring actress Eva Green is too sexy for American audiences!
Page Six reports the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rejected the following "Sin City: A Dame to Kill" poster for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.”.....oh yeah, the gun is fine though.
The poster has been making the rounds since on Reddit and features the actress alongside the words, "I've been especially bad."

"Banned"...
I imagine they never expected approval in the first place. Every website has been sharing the image & reporting on this 'news'. They couldn't have paid for this kind of advertising.

Yeah, I assumed this was a publicity move. There's no way this was ever going to be posted up in a theater. Parents taking kids to see How to Train Your Dragon 2 would lose their minds. Same story a few years ago with that one poster for Girl with the Dragon Tattoo that showed an awful lot of Rooney Mara.woodrowgus wrote:"Banned"...

Yup. They know what they're doing.matowest wrote: Same story a few years ago with that one poster for Girl with the Dragon Tattoo that showed an awful lot of Rooney Mara.
Not that I'm complaining. I think it's fair to say we've all seen lamer publicity grabswoodrowgus wrote:Yup. They know what they're doing.matowest wrote: Same story a few years ago with that one poster for Girl with the Dragon Tattoo that showed an awful lot of Rooney Mara.

50 cents first pitch at yesterday's Mets game said to have been done on purpose so it'd get more press given his upcoming album release.

Sure, but that poster isnt even that racy. ..is this just a publicity stunt to compensate for either terrible cinematography or awful dialogue and actor selection? She is pretty, but a lot of people are it doesn't mean they are right for the film.

Eva Green is a great actress, and will likely be perfect as a femme fatale in a highly stylized shlockfest. Again, it's just free advertising.talkingdeads wrote:Sure, but that poster isnt even that racy. ..is this just a publicity stunt to compensate for either terrible cinematography or awful dialogue and actor selection?
