I've purchased all of my Phlegm prints on the aftermarket and set the high price on some of them including hundreds for old test prints. If the starting price was higher, I would not have been able to do that. While I would've liked that money to go to Phlegm, I don't want him to price out his true fans and I'm sure he doesn't want that either. It goes against everything he's about. There's plenty of other ways Phlegm can get paid (open edition of books, shows, etc.) if he is really concerned about that (which I'm pretty sure he's not)...

Did you see how much that crap overpriced JR/Lynch collab is about to flip for on eBay? I wouldn't underestimate anybody with a buttload of cash and reckless spending habits, haha.alittle wrote:There is a limit to what a flipper can charge. If this drops at a grand, there isn't much meat on the bone for a re-seller. Sure, they may list at $2K, but that is pretty much uncharted territory for Phlegm, and I'd be shocked to see many people buying at that price.

It wouldn't shock me at all. Phlegm is headed in that direction. People with money will pay what it takes to get what they want and he's only getting better.

(1) It looks like shilling to me
(2) At the current shilled bid, we are looking at $3,750. The price was $3,200. After eBay fees, paypal fees and customs on their end, they probably aren't even breaking even.

Bingo!alittle wrote:Yes, it'll be an etching. And yes, I hope the price is high. About time he valued his work at what it is worth to collectors.DonPiano wrote:So it'd still be an etching? If that's the case, then the price would still be pretty high.

My bad, thought the price was $2,300. Must have been euros or some fudge. Still, didn't think that would sell for more than $100, haha.alittle wrote:Huh?Timbrh2001 wrote:Did you see how much that crap overpriced JR/Lynch collab is about to flip for on eBay?
