I'm also enjoying Animal NY's reasoning for not posting about the PC denial earlier...they've replied to people on twitter and IG making that point by saying they couldn't post anything until after bne pulled the scam or they would have looked crazy.

Um no dude, you would have looked like you had a legit email from PC denying an upcoming Banksy sale was legit.

Then in another IG comment Animal says the brilliance of the scam is that bne got legit artists to do work so it made the Banksy sale seem legit and "not one blog thought to confirm it"

Um no again dude, you confirming it with PC. On Friday. And you didn't post about it.

Well I bought one right at 2 and got a confirmation. Then I bought another around 2:30ish (clearly when they were sold out) just in case they oversold and did some OBEY fudge and cancelled orders in a weird way. That way I had two chances to get one. Anyways, I've only gotten confirmation on the first and nothing saying refunded on the second.

Same. I emailed about a 2nd confirmation. Have yet to hear back.

We're all bit-part actors in this charade thats unfolding in front of us and I'm happy to choose my role as the guy sipping coffee way in the distance whilst some of you run around squawking trying to be the lead before getting your brains blown out by the bad guys.
