I'm still in awe over the fact that the Robotic Boot is a painting.

There was a pic a while back of what I believe was Aaron's flatfile with a Croatoan print just sitting in there...

I definitely think it would be a good idea to speak with the mods and find a way to keep the THC threads from fading away. They're too good to be gone so quickly.

Thanks for sharing those pics. I'm weeping in my Cheerios at the glory of those OG's.

Great idea. This is my post from when you put the thread together:

The suggestion didn't seem to have much traction.

We've already lost a few of them, right? I think a couple of the old ones are still around, though.

How about allowing us to sponsor a thread? I'd pay into a THC PayToStay (tm) fund to make these permanent historical artifacts.

Why lock them in the first place? If they were left open wouldn't an occasional post keep them alive?

I believe Tapecat requested to have that thread locked because it was the sign-up thread, and since the sign-up window expired, he didn't want more people posting and expecting to be included in this round. TC could just request a mod to unlock it, but I don't think he is even aware or visiting EB much recently.
