i'm gonna have to disagree. chips are way better than spears. i always get burned eating spears, and they always fall apart on you. chips are way better.

My missus does a Hungarian cucumber salad with sour cream and weak vinegar. It's pretty damn good. Very thinly slice and then salt the cucumbers over a couple of hours to draw out the moisture, rinse and dry them, cover in sour cream, and add a teaspoon or so of weak white vinegar and seasoning to taste, and sprinkle with paprika to serve.
