So cool. I think Jay Ryan was probably influenced by Calvin & Hobbes.
Pretty much. Danger has expressed many times that Watterson is one of his major influences.partpat wrote:Feel like anyone paying any attention during the Calvin and Hobbes era did, wonderful characters, story's and drawings.downtown wrote:So cool. I have that set and love it...but it's more for staring at and presenting than actually reading.PLUSH wrote:Just picked up the complete hardcover box set this weekend from Costco for $49.99

Me too. $7k is a little out of reach for me. As much as I would love to go for this, I would also like to continue living in my home more.amb6883 wrote:Yeah, had really wanted to get this someday. Didn't think it would go that high.ConstantStruggle wrote:that recorded peice?!?amb6883 wrote:
You would think with a run of 1000 a few more would show up. I guess there are a bunch of newspaper people out there kicking themselves for not keeping this.
I need more. Nothing seems to satisfy. I don't want it. I just need it. To feel, to breathe, to know I'm alive. - MJK

I know you have a pretty serious collection too but I have to say that yeah it would totally be worth it.
