Great image. I see the connection people are making between this and Danger's Dr. Strange, but this is one print I really want to see in the flesh before passing any serious judgement on it.

I still really dont see the similarity in the least bit. Oh and by the way the best McCarthy in a long time in my opinion.

i would be more inclined to think its more a case of what first comes to mind to compare, similarities are building with a light, dont mind this either, well done dan
art is the only justification for pain :)

Regardless, this does have a Danger-esque feel to it. I have to say that if someone showed me this print and didn't say who the artist was, I'd guess Danger before I guessed McCarthy.
To be clear, I am not saying this is any kind of rip-off or Danger inspired piece, it just has that certain look we've come to expect from Danger.
That being said, it's an image I like.

Okay, not saying there's anything wrong with this, but...there is one listed in the trades already and as far as I know, none of these have shipped yet.

The subs with this one won't be sent until June based on the email I just got.

How does that work?

Also, supposing my buddy were to buy this print from the website...does Dan ship only when subs go out, or does he ship when you order (I haven't ordered directly from him as of yet).

And I think this looks pretty cool. It does have a bit of a Daniel Danger feel to it. Love the squid & whale reference. Although it may not be as dark. The Woods looks really dark in the JPG, but isn't so dark IRL.

Dan ships at the end of the month if you buy direct from him...only the subs are quaterly shipments...

the more i stare at this print the more I seem to get hypnotized by it....there seems to be a nice little trend with the detail...

It felt so good has some really intricate detail...and this one reminds me of the depth and fine intricacy as well...it's lovely..

if you look at the detail in it the guy is more than likely Dan himself drawing whale and the squid!

i like it, i like that factor too that i just mentioned...i would like to see a variant of this come out aswell...that would be good.

It's great to see Dan doing different things. I think this will look incredible in person. It has a Mediterranean feel to it.
