From what I remember I don't believe they're allowing for the open edition to be picked up, all had to be shipped.
As far as the metal, those aren't available for pickup - not done yet afaik.

I can't find the quote but pretty sure they are doing gallery pickup on the Ansin print. I remember they asked that if you want gallery pickup to add it to the notes of your order instead of completing your order and then contacting them. I'd imagine there won't be any local pickups until the gallery opens back up for the Edmiston show though.

No gallery pick ups until the 23rd, I already asked. That is a LONG wait if you aren't getting it shipped.

Yeah there are no pick ups until the day after the opening.

From today's Mondo Shipping Update. Hopefully you're towards the front of the bus...
We are about 1/3rd of the way through shipping the MAN OF STEEL timed edition by Martin Ansin. They came out AMAZING and we hope you agree. We snapped some photos so you can see for yourself here!

Just so you have a complete understanding of how the rest of shipping will occur, the stock of 5,585 prints have been scheduled to print in 3 waves by our printer. The first wave of 1,500 have all arrived to us and shipped. The second wave of 2,000 copies ships to us on 8/20, and the final wave of 2,000+ (this includes the METAL variant) ship to us on 8/28.

The printing is taking a little more time than previously expected, but wait until you see these things in person. They are gorgeous, and we are confident you will agree they are worth the wait.

As always, if you have any questions feel free to contact us through the 'CONTACT' section of our website. Thank you for your continued patience!

Anybody out there know how they determine which buyers get their prints first? I ordered mine about 4 minutes after they went on sale, and I had a friend who bought one at the last second before the sale ended. He has recieved his print already, and I am still waiting (as I didn't fall into that first 1/3 they shipped out).

Not really a big deal, just asking out of curiosity...

My best guess is Names, since my last name starts with a "W"...

Regardless I am very excited to see this beauty in person!!!!

I got one a few days ago. Last name starts with an L. I ordered one right as it dropped and ordered another on the last day. I am still waiting on one.

My last name's W as well, nothing.

I'd guess most recent orders to oldest, only anecdotal stuff we've got involves people who ordered at as soon as it dropped still waiting (myself included)...

Damn, these are going to stretch into September and possibly October. That's 3-4 months. Can you imagine if they sold 10,000+? As long as there is quality control, I am in no hurry.

This thing looks awesome. Still kinda mad I missed it (I was at Bonnaroo that weekend, and this was the last thing on my mind). Excited to see some of these framed. I'm hoping I can score one down the road for cost.
