As stated, it's far better than anything off the last album ... which is mostly unlistenable.

Hopefully this is the influence of touring with X for the last few years and it permeates the whole album ... would be nice if they can just tell ed to leave his ballads for his solo albums.

I tried listening to Backspacer on the way home from work last night ... christ, that album is awful.

Different strokes. I found Backspacer a refreshing change of pace from the snoozefest that was Avacado. I've already heard Porch guys, do you need to release it as a single again? I'm sick of the pseudo punk crap. 4 chord fake punk doesn't make old people young again.

Yea I enjoyed Backspacer WAY more than Avocado. 7 of the 11 tracks are solid in my book.

I thought Backspacer was their best since Binaural. But this definitely sounds better so far... Different strokes for sure.

Finally put in my lotto choices. For people in the northeast, this lottery absolutely blows if you're hoping to get selected for more than one show. Good luck to everyone, hopefully there's some happy posts here tomorrow.

Agreed on all of the above.

Yeah, don't think I'm gonna have much luck for my endeavor.

Right now I have:

1st: Brooklyn 2 GA
2nd: Brooklyn 2 reserved
3rd: Brooklyn 1 GA
4th: Brooklyn 1 reserved

But I might change 3rd choice to Hartford since its almost impossible that there will be tickets left after EVERYONE who put Brooklyn 1 GA as their first or second choice OR Brooklyn 1 reserved as their first, 2nd or 3rd choice. It's basically throwing away a 3rd choice when you know demand for NYC shows is always high. Obviously the hope is I get my first or 2nd choice and I don't have to worry, but you never know.

Seriously, their lotto system is balls.

Would a current Ten Club member mind filling me in on the GA situation? Are GA tickets exclusively reserved for Ten Club members or are there going to be some available for us non-members?

GA is for Ten Club members only. There will be a seated floor section behind that for both members and non-members.
