Sigur Ros St. Paul 13 Horkey Release Discussion 04/03/13
Love it. And congrats to anyone who gets to enjoy a wonderful and amazing performance by Sigur Ros.
Good luck to those at the show getting a poster, hopefully no lame stories will come out about someone buying a stack of 20.
Seeing them in Houston next week!

To me it is a no brainer! What an amazing band to see live, of course assuming it is your cup of tea. Not sure how big the venue is, but Aaron might also be there. Hell I would go to shows all the time if I lived nearby. Plus to own the poster from the show you were at is a huge plus in my book.
Jealous to anyone who has the chance to go but doesn't. Extremely jealous.

I like the TC a lot. And today it's up to 35, while it's only 78 in PHX!jdhq1185 wrote:Never any love for the Phoenix crowd. One of many reasons I wish I was back in the Twin Cities.
Actually, I like PHX okay but love it up in Flag...my son lived there for 4 years and it is a great town and has a great venue for a show like this.

Phx sucks. Barely April and already preparing for 90 degree temps. Ugh.
I broke something today, and I realized I should break something once a week.. - Warhol

The venue is fairly sizable I think. Imagine about the size of a small division 1 basketball arena. It holds almost 6,000.appletree wrote:To me it is a no brainer! Whoever is going to this concert, just bring an empty tube to keep the print you're going to flip on eBay safe, but seriously, stay for the music. Sigur Rós' music is incredibly powerful and ethereal, and their live concerts are some of the best I've ever experienced.
Agreed with this x1000. Even if it isn't your cup of tea it is just quiet and chill music. I would NOT buy a poster and leave, as you would miss out on a very awesome and rare event.Xander wrote:Whoever is going to this concert, just bring an empty tube to keep the print you're going to flip on eBay safe, but seriously, stay for the music. The music will be better than the print and the print is drymounting awesome. Saw them once, one of the better shows I have ever been to.

I am seeing a trend with you and Horkey's work. A lot of must haves. I approve of Michael Scott's taste in art.sidewaysscott wrote:I'm gonna need this.
