This is exactly what I thought of when I saw it. The bottle shape is more medicinal looking to me. Maybe the snake is just a metaphor for the contents within the bottle? "Snake oil" or some mystery elixir fits perfectly. While physically impossible due to it's size, the snake's tail coming from the opening leads one to believe the snake emerged or slithered out to prey upon it's victim.

Just got my ticket! I procrastinated on tickets for the Converge show last October so this is great. First time I've felt lucky to live in Minnesota since I moved here.

Just had to chirp in and say GOD DAMN AARON YOU ARE TOO INSANE!!! This piece has so much going for it, the use of gig information written into the bottle. To the amazing ability Aaron has to nail the wood grain and snake scale patterns. This is a without a doubt one hell of a print, Graveyard is lucky to have this poster to their credit. I am praying that I am able to grab both the Siren and this show edition.

2011 also...
1. Graveyard, “Hisingen Blues” (Nuclear Blast)

yep, Aaron has great taste (IMO). but THIS is the best...

My number one dream poster project right now would be something for the Swedish band Graveyard — absolutely cannot get enough of them, my perfect gravel road at dusk soundtrack. Hisingen Blues has been in such heavy rotation since its release last year that our four-year-old son knows most of the songs at this point.

gotta be happy for the guy.

Yep, by a long shot, their best album. Although, the 1st LP is great and I'm loving Lights Out. I'm so excited to see a GP from Aaron for a band I like. Hasn't happened since Neurosis. It hasn't stopped me from amassing an enormous Horkey collection but it's great that I can say I love 100% of this one.

I think I'm gonna go check these dudes out on Friday, here in Denver. Would be drymounting cool if there were left over posters from the Minne show. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it. :pint:
