3D Art becoming a trend?....
With Invaders new 3D piece just dropping and now Rene Gagnon stepping on the 3D train, http://renegagnonfineart.com, i'd like to discuss this "trend".
my opinion....i am not a fan. i don't want to have to throw on a pair of glasses to see the piece properly. not to mention, if i happen to lose the glasses, i must now go out and get another pair? and if guests come over, am i to supply all of them with glasses to have a looksy? i hate it.

They should go back to these so no glasses will be needed:

wall it. corked mattes.
also hear dal is going to have his lines jump at you. pottaplants sources told me.
fad...trend...either way you splice it, me no likey.
I doubt it becomes a trend..I'd hate to see every artist use it or have it become the norm
But if done properly can be kinda cool..especially if it's done every once in awhile

Two artists doing something similar does not make a trend or a fad.

Just slide the 3D glasses behind the top of the frame so you don't lose them. And do all the guest have to look at it at the same time. Maybe you could 'share' the one pair.

To answer your question, no.
