I realize this response is extremely late, but since I am currently in the process of finally having mine framed I decided to inspect mine a little closer.

I do see bits of black here and there, but it definitely appears to be intentional and part of the print. Unfortunately for me, during this inspection I just found a flaw I never noticed when I first received it. It seems the red ink didn't go on evenly, and now I see small spots of white here and there. It's only on places where red is found... unfortunately it's the most powerful color on the print.

Anyone else have this issue? Might help me feel better if it turns out to be common. :twisted:

I don't know about this particular print but screen prints in general sometimes have that issue.

Yeah, I figured. Just wish it wasn't on the red, of all colors. :P

I believe if an item is ended by the seller, it also displays it as "sold." You can always email the seller to verify whether it was indeed sold.

How can you guys be so positive? I think it's fairly realistic that some guy who didn't really care about 2 grand could have nabbed that off ebay. It was the only one available for sale via ebay, and if the person wasn't familiar with EB the price may not have seemed too outrageous considering variants had sold for $1500 in the past.

wow, the guy who paid $2k has some deep pockets and likes to overpay for stuff. He's received feedback on a ton of prints in just the last few weeks including.. $1.5k for Halloween, $999 for Stout Akira Reg, $500 for RD Variant, $179 for Slater No Roads. He's bought other stuff for around going rates as well. Odd but I guess not beyond belief?
