I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.

Michael's Frame 35.00. I thought it was made out of wood, I all the paint down because there were a bunch of dings. Repainted it, went to the framer to get a matte, painted the gold border. The framer said the frame is actually some kind of plastic, but it seemed like wood when I sanded the paint off. I just have to clean it up and touch up the gold border. I'm almost just as finished with my Captain America, just need to let the paint settle, then I'll take the tape off. This was my first DIY frame, turned out much better then I imagined.

Built this display for the black wood true grit so you could view both sides of it:

And I didn't take a new photo of the back cause it was hard enough to take the front photo alone.. here's the back without plexi and the old base:

Just got The Corbomite Maneuver back from the framers, what do you guys think of it? It's my first framed print.

Wizzack, I'm very much looking forward to seeing pics of your "wall o' trash" after everything is all hung.

Well done. The simple frame really lets the art shine.

Did two this weekend, both pre-cut mats and drop-in frames. Picked up both prints awhile ago, the gorilla ("General Doom") for my nephew as a birthday present and the Pomeranian for my wife. Pretty happy with how both came out.
