This thread is long overdue. Love Mike's work. I began buying his stuff at various Gallery1988 shows, not knowing who he was or even realizing it was by the same artist. I just dug the work. He's getting better and better IMO, and it's great to see his stuff catching on.

These are up in our hallway. We bought 2 Fat Birds this weekend which will go up in the kitchen in the coming week or so.

Absolutely! I kind of figured there was one that had been buried or something but to my surprise, there wasn't one.

Also, I don't if anyone else was a fan of Threadless several years back but I never realized until recently that this one was Mike's design:

This is bad ass. But the prints not evenly spaced throughout would drive me nuts!
Yeah its annoying heh. When I hung them up I had a terrible fever and it was like 100 degrees inside and miserable. Also, I'm convinced my walls are crooked. Its an old building and I swear the laser level was spot on. Ill fix it ... eventually.

do a database search for Mike Mitchell. Some are as low as 5, and others as high as 75.

Well, as the co-creator... It is my duty to inform you all that there are still a few of his Just Like Us Prints available at Gallery 1988's online store (as well as his Step Brothers pieces). There are some really great ones there; the Doc Ock, Freddie Mercury, Bill Cosby, etc... all at the original price of $30 each.

One more thing... I'm overjoyed that I live in a world where I can have Mr. Show's Bob and David on my wall as their other iconic television personalities:

Trust me, I'd love to buy them all... But its better they go to people reading this thread who might get their first Mitchell.
