I wouldn't want a supporting actor with a small role to sign in the image, but the director of the film? They should be able to sign wherever the drymount they want to. Frame that fudge and hang it with pride. That is awesome!

Yeah man, do not let the location of that get you down. That's John drymounting Carpenter. I'd let him sign it right on the face with his own fudge, if it meant the signature.

Savini's sig is very classy, and he knows how to place it on the art without distracting from it. Is The Prowler actually signed in red?

+1. I kind of want him to sign all my posters now, even stuff he has absolutely no business signing... like Whalen Disney prints. Not sure I've ever felt as strongly about a signature inside the print area enhancing the image. That fudge's straight up classy.

Personally i wouldnt get rare stuff signed. I once saw smashing pumpkins drummer sign a sleeve and he put a dent in it.

I suppose it all depends on the collector. I love signed stuff, rare or otherwise. Placement be damned. A few years ago David Cronenberg poorly handled a Fly poster I had him sign, and put a few crinkles in it. But you know what?... DAVID CRONENBERG put crinkles in it.

I plan to get my Hellraiser print signed by the same pair (and hopefully Clive) next month, so I was curious what type of pen you used. I've never gotten anything signed before, much less a Mondo. Definitely want to use something that writes smoothly and will show clearly. Will a white sharpie paint pen do the trick?
