What does that mean. I know it cant be good.freerange wrote:
Eh, I don't think it is that bad.
Not that MBW deserves much thought, but I kind of like the idea of using an iconic image of four men who are almost exclusively idolized and very simply turning them into bad guys...I think the handkerchiefs are a better way to do this than angry eyebrows or something. Still won't buy or try to flip.

Which of the variants look best with the different colored scarves? I prefer gray but something tells me that red would come out best in person. I really hate it when I make an art purchase based only on a jpeg.

Trying to make the mo$t from your purchase?bkboy77 wrote:Which of the variants look best with the different colored scarves? I prefer gray but something tells me that red would come out best in person. I really hate it when I make an art purchase based only on a jpeg.
I think blue for the flipper purchase.
Thanks for the advice. Anyone else care to share which of the variants will flip for the most money?ottomatik71 wrote:Trying to make the mo$t from your purchase?bkboy77 wrote:Which of the variants look best with the different colored scarves? i'd be wary of flipping this at $500 face value.
the flippers will be out in full force - i think this won't end too well for them.
at $300 or less, it would be a no brainer. i think this is priced really well, and don't see it going for much more than that on the secondary

want to compare bank accounts, wives, and art portfolios?
I disagree... I would be much more inclined to buy this if they all had silly evil eyebrows instead...I think the handkerchiefs are a better way to do this than angry eyebrows or something.

Agree with you. This would be a nightmare to store as well with a width close to 4 ft. Flippers beware of this. I have a feeling this will go like the Keyes stampede and sowers. Massive pieces with ok images but poor resale value.ejg904 wrote:i'd be wary of flipping this at $500 face value.

whoa whoa whoa, stampede and sowers are awesome images!!! 1000x more impressive (not saying better because art is so damn subjective) then this which was probably done in photoshop or illustrator in 30 minutes. You gotta remember, those Keyes prints are all insanely detailed paintings!bkboy77 wrote:Agree with you. This would be a nightmare to store as well with a width close to 4 ft. we're talking about the prices, and what it will fetch on the secondary
