Flat file refurbishing project
A couple of board members and I recently acquired an identical set of flat files that we plan on fixing up separately. I thought it would be fun to post some process pics and see how they turn out. Hopefully the other 2 will join in here.
I will be contributing soon.
Looking really good (completely w/ you on the veneer). However, do you have to be out of that room before Wednesday's bingo night?

Day 1. (Sorry for the iPhone pics) 104 degree day made this fun.
When it was picked up.
Handles and label sleeve removed.
Sanded.
Applying first coat of stain.
So far, I've sanded/stained two drawers. Sanded one additional drawer and have two more to go. Once they're all sanded/stained, another round of sanding and additional stain then I should be good.
