Ah ha! I just commented the other day that I had never seen anyone say they'd scored a black version or how. Of course, I'm less excited about it now than at the time of the Mondo release with the possible warping issue. Here is the previous photo btw:

I woke up, saw that Moon Editions tweet and almost started hoping l got a refund on ODiR so I could have even a chance of affording the True Grit black wood. Key word there is almost.

I wonder whether they've managed to sort out the warping issue.

Great question. This is the only thing that stopped me from going for the reg. The Black is looking spectacular, though.

They were offered out individually if I recall, it was a very short amount of time to make up your mind and also quite expensive. As far as I know, the time to buy these has come and gone.
