Sam, Rick might be aging but is definitely not old (yet); I'm in his league (but he's better at finding cheap scalper tix); therefore in this circle you can celebrate your youth my friend! And we can all act like kids so that's worth celebrating (with a few posters).rockbridge wrote:fudge Rick....I'm old...I will be doing good just to hang in the pit with all of the kiddos all night...I keep hearing these guys play short sets...That might help my caseRick_a_c wrote:Hey Sam,
C'mon, man... Take your better half out for a great meal... After the show!
I can't wait to see the set of posters from this leg...nothing on their FB page yet for tonight's show. The Keys have been playing 90 minute sets based on what I've read and heard from attendees.
There are 2 pretty cool vids up--one from CBS Sunday Morning (http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id= ... ontentBody) and one from Coachella to honor Levon Helm's life (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfXcnX8STqU).

Old and young are states of mind. Period. I don't want any more whining, Sam. You can do dinner after the show if you want to.
Of course, the fallout you experience the next morning is not a state of mind, but rather a fact of nature.

I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.
potentially followed by a force of nature as well!Rick_a_c wrote:rather a fact of nature.

There wasn't a poster for the Dallas show this past weekend. Confirmed it with several sources in attendance.xangelx wrote:There will be a poster for every show on the current tour leg.zenmechanic wrote:Will there be a poster for the show this Saturday in Tulsa?

That is true. That was not really a Black Keys show, it was a radio fest. I don't know exactly why but they never do posters for stuff like that but they do one for Coachella type fests. All the rest of the shows on this run are TBK headlining shows and there will be posters for each.

I would love to give my poster buddies a heads up but I have been sworn to secrecy and thus I can't, but I would bet on there being a lot of familiar names and a lot of great posters...as always.
