fathom = depth
knots = speed
league = distance

? How the hell did sailors end up with three different units of measure?

Starboard = right
Port = left

Both times I went to Disney World as a kid (3 years apart) it was shut down for construction, kills me to this day that I never rode it. Looked so cool even completely drained.
