Does anyone in the UK know of where I can buy extra large sheets of white acid free tissue paper 1000mmx750mm to place between each of my 36x24 prints in my flat file?.

I have looked on eBay and Google but not had much success.

What do other people use between their prints?

Many Thanks

I buy from http://www.preservationequipment.com they sell in sheets or rolls. They have 1016 x 762mm sheets or rolls of 1016mm x 76m/152m/305m. Carriage is £10 for the sheets though, so I buy a few packs at a time.

I used to use G&M/Glass and Mirrors for everything (I believe they now operate under Wessex Pics?) Always been super cheap for supplies and free delivery for me as they supply a local framers and they drop my stuff off on the way.

Probably have tissue for sale but thought I'd link these anyway for the general UK folk to peruse through :)

I’m liking the direction on that DD print. :D

Just out of curiosity, do you have to licence these things at all? Have always wondered if artists can just knock out prints for films and sell them without fear of being chased up by the big, bad suits!

No, you will inevitably get a cease and desist, but being as small of an operation as I am it's usually under the radar - best thing I can do as an artist is keep credits/actor faces to a minimum and hope that the big printers like Mondo eventually take notice (like they did with Iron Jaiden)

Buy a roll of mylar, or similar archival polyester, and cut off what you need. Lasts longer than tissue, protects better, and you can see through it. I cut off large sheets and fold 'em in half to make sleeves, but you could just cut off a sheet to use as a divider. Few places sell it, here is one:
