Toobs - Rappers, Breaking Bad, Reservoir Dogs & More
one of the best live trace feature demonstrations i've seen (if that's indeed what you used), toobs. it achieves a unique effect and along with the carefully arranged compositions, these pieces are winners that should be displayed for all to see
i myself am still mastering gradient meshes, which a whole other universe, but so much fun and potential still lies ahead
great work!

have you ever experimented w/ gradient meshes in illustrator?toobs wrote:No live trace jus a sketch of an image in photoshop, though I did use some live trace filler in the first print
i've done a few low-fi photo-realisitic paintings using a lot of gradient meshes, but i'm not as versed as some folks are, which create illustrations that look nearly as realistic as photos, but they're entirely vector and editable

I don't know how the Breaking Bad print has lasted so long, but I sure am glad it did...a nice little early X-mas present to myself! I can't wait to see what you do with the next one...

I'm excited for a S3 or S4 print. Those seasons were some of the best stuff on TV EVER.
When stressed about getting a drop, just remember: it will decay into the same organic matter as inevitably as your rotting corpse no matter how much museum glass you put in front of it.
