Nice poster. Why such a limited run? How many to the band and promoter? How many variants?

"Iggy and the Stooges came to San Francisco to kick ass. They rocked Raw Power – and nothing says Raw Power more powerfully than a supernova. This poster was done as a special request from the band. I had planned to sit this one out, because I saw Gregg Gordon’s tour poster (shout out link to Gregg’s poster:http://www.gigart.com/2011/2011.grid.htm). The band asked me as a special request to make this poster to celebrate their show in San Francisco. There is a very limited edition of 85 prints, because I was asked on such short notice."itsdug wrote:Nice poster. Why such a limited run? How many to the band and promoter? How many variants?

Where are you seeing the possibility of variants, or are you just speculating?Rick_a_c wrote:I'm in if there's a red (i.e., bloodshot eye) variant. An iggy image needs the rugged, beat-up look IMHO

speculation at this point. no cariant was mentioned on chucks site, but i guess we could always hope
Speculating. Based on the fact he only did 85 copies of the regular edition due to time constraints, there may not be any variants... at least today. But who knows what might show up for the variant master.
I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.
Wish I could've been there.
