"IT'S GOING TO BE O.K." is letterpress print that Arley-Rose created for the AS220 print editions project. It is simple, beautifully designed, and hand lettered by the artist. The letterpress edition was printed by Providence's Morgan Calderini. For weeks everyone who has seen the artwork hanging in my office asks me where they can get a copy. Now we've made it simple for them. "IT'S GOING TO BE O.K." is available immediately on Tiny Showcase.

Have a terrific weekend.

Damn! I was wondering...They are usually released by now. Can't imagine why they would stop producing these. They seemed very popular. I'm certainly bummed.

A Guy is Fighting a Monster Out of Nowhere...
An anthology by The Providence Comics Consortium.

Locals! Fellow Rhode Islanders!

Wanna pick up a copy of the book in time for Hanukkah or Christmas? We've stashed a few copies of the anthology at Buonaccorsi+Agniel. The gallery will be open Wednesday through Friday from 12-6. If you intend on picking up the book just let us know and we will refund your shipping.

Why not stop by, pick up your order, and view their current show featuring work by one of the anthology's contributors, Brian Chippendale?! That sounds like a lovely little outing.
Weighing in at 217 pages, this 7" by 8.5" anthology was created over the past several months at the branches of the Providence Community Library. It features the artwork of 46 kids and 20 adult comic artists.

The Providence Comics Consortium is a loose affiliation of people who are psyched about kid and adult artists working together to make and self publish comics. Started in the Fall of 2010 with a Rhode Island State Council on the Arts grant, the workshop series was hosted at five Providence Community Library branches. The Consortium's changing cast of characters, herded by Walker Mettling and Andrew Oesch, continue to exploring generative story and drawing games with new Comics Classes starting up in 2012 at the Washington Park Library and The Learning Community Charter School.

Artists include Emmy Bright, Eric Lamont, CF, Ian Myers, Tom Bubul, Andrew Oesch, Walker Mettling, Meredith Younger & Allegra Richards, Alec Thibodeau, William Schaff, Mickey Zacchilli, Juliet Smith & Julia Gaultieri, Chuck Forsman, Jackie H Curtis, Ian G. Cozzens, Melissa Mendes, Jess Fields, Natalja Kent, and Brian Chippendale.

217 pages. 7" wide by 8.5" tall.
