Yeah...I got home from work today and checked my email. Apparently I can't read. I live in EST and I guess I shouldn't have assumed that this would be 11:11 am PST... I had to work at 6:00a.m. this morning. I would have set an alarm. Really bummed out. I fell in love with the print the first time I saw it and loved the chance to complete the list. I even F#@ked off at work just so I could write an apology letter to my boss. I even used the computer in his office to send my email at 11:11....
:hanging:
Great contest regardless of my stupidity. Thanks David!

Nominated for POTW!

Does anyone know if the winners/losers will be notified or will the prints just show up one day?

He never said to include shipping info. I didn't. Don't know if that will help or hurt. He is kinda erratic, so who the hell knows.

Me too, I figured that if I was in the 111 lucky people they might check, but I didn't think that that many people would enter...although my address is on the receipt for my donation...fingers crossed

From the notification email:

"Being left out in the cold with eggnog was the best entry.
Dancing machine in the MAC store is a close second."

From the David Choe Blog:

"Hey Kids thanks for playing! It's 5am in new York I just got a call from Bobby Namba saying We got over a thousand submissions all around the Same time , I gotta be honest even though everyone loves free fudge (and let's be honest this wasn't entirely free i did ask for a tiny piece of your soul ) I didn't think so many people would come through with my requests, and actually alot of you didn't , all the ones that didn't follow instructions or wrote me "hey dave choi I love your art dude I'm
Your biggest fan send my free print to ..." without completing any of the redemptive good deed tasks , were thrown out , it's gonna take me a
Minute to sort through this hot mess , what a drymounting headache i
Made for myself what was i
Thinking?haha ok lovers , if you did what I asked and got it in with the quickness to the first 111 people , you will get something nice from me soon (if you bitch or complain about anything to me or Bobby, your print is getting reneged remember that some stranger did something nice for you and spread the love assholes :)"

no email here for me and i had a pretty sweet picture of me crying next to my girlfriend shitting. :(

that would've been awesome. I got #8 or #9 I think but 1 or 11 would've been killer! But it really is a beautiful print...strange packing though, lol (wrapped in plastic with two blue plastic cups on the ends held in place by tape and then had foam pieces on the end of that). Dead mint though, so something was done right :)
