You know ... perceived value is a funny thing ... the stock market can crash on nothing more then fear and frenzy ... why can't the perceived value of these prints dive at some point?DeltaSigChi4 wrote:Haters are really amusing.

Hell ... does anyone remember what the baseball card market was like in the mid/late 80s? Not that baseball cards are art ... well, in some sense, they are ... but I'm sure some profiteers took huge losses when that market went through its freefall.
It's a legitimate question.
if you're in it for the art, and the message ... no worries.
if you're in it to strictly make profit ... it's sometihng to think about.
On a semi related note, these are still available ...

Snap. As were last week's for over a day after they went on sale. Yes, if you like the art that's one thing, getting a sub for selling - well? Better sell quick because there isn't much that's setting these prints apart from eachother from one week to the next. Again, same color schemes - same designs, just seems like it's getting to be like a common baseball card if you will.

Not to further the stupid argument......... but I mean the people who collect his art, what exactly are you going to do with it? I mean seriously if you get everyone by the end of the year your going to have what? Like 50 prints that pretty much all look the same. I guess you could get a flat file or display them in a rack, but shoot, your going to end up paying more money for the rack and mylars then the prints are going to be worth in a couple years.

POR EJEMPLO:
The 2 sides of Capitalism that were up for sale on his site for over a week a few months ago were editions of 800 and had a 2 per limit!!!!
every1 ragged on them
eventually they sold out
Now they go for around $75 bucks.
If a run of 800, 2 limit, that people didnt even "like", that took "forever" to sell out now doubles up a month or so later,
what will they be worth in 2 years?
Just a thought.
