placed an order almost 2 weeks ago have heard nothing back. no order confirmation, shipment confirmation etc.

the site reads: "We ship three days a week and any order paid by paypal, money order or check that has cleared will go out in next shipment". i just figured i would get some sort of order number or something.

anybody have any experience with this site?

uh oh,

I think that this has been covered before....i also think that people had better luck getting him to respond by going through his ebay. Right?
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

yep... no replies at all from Jawneh - got a paypal refund and it cost me 8 bucks in charges for the pleasure - waste of time money and effort - he gets defended at GP all the time so i gave him the benefit of the doubt - never again. Shame too cos he's got some good stock.

my arcade fire Chicago '07 poster eludes me again. I'm soon going to start purchasing only from fellow eb'rs.

Late to the party but I have been ripped off by them as well.

His excuse to me was "posters get lost or stolen in the mail all the time, what do you want me to do about it?"

I never checked back to see if he drymounted his dog like I asked.

It's comical that there's a "collectors are tools" thread over on gp where this sorry sack will soon be making fun of you for actually wanting what you paid for.

I remember ordering a 'Zeke' print for a Denver show a long time ago from Lonestar... and it never arrived. And the emails went unanswered. For months. And months. Until I finally got the 'lost in the mail' BS and John issued me a refund 6-8 months after the purchase. For a $40 print. Never understand why you would run a business like that. Never understand how a person like that gets involved in business. Never understand how they are still in existence. And I would NEVER buy from Lonestar again. Period.

If we've learned anything this year it's that if you want your posters you need to call John's mom.

I've been very close to ordering from this site before. Now I'm glad I didn't. Hope it all works out.
