The Ottawa poster was for sale at the main merch tent for $35.pj101ca wrote:wow, I'm shocked. Not once has there been a poster for a band i've seen at bluesfest over the years.
Wonder if it was sold at the show? Nice looking print.

It is obvious now that since Ed Vedder and PJ restrict the artist so much that the posters are not as good
the soundgarden posters have been turning out better and I am sure that the artist had full creative rights

mmmm Beer
not sure who did last night's poster, but according to one forum, it was 3 or 4 wolves in a rusted cage.

Gregg Gordon (Gigart) did last night's poster based on the description.
It's pretty ugly in my opinion. Here is a link to it. http://www.gigart.com/2011/2011.grid.htmdirkstainly wrote:Gregg Gordon (Gigart) did last night's poster based on the description.
depends on who is doing two posters. I could see JR, Soto, Klausen, for sure doing two. That would throw the list off for sure, lol.justbehmh wrote:so Angry Blue is next then....trying to figure out Red Rocks for the love of christ.
I'm hoping for Taylor or Klausen for Chicago, myself.
oh, and the next poster should be pretty nice

I know I am pipedreaming here but there are more shows than artists named and The RedRocks show on Colorado happens to fall on The Late Great Dr Hunter S Thompson's birthday so I am fantasizing a Steadman piece (or at least a Gonzo tie-in).
definitely bring a tube!starkiller wrote:so is there a NJ poster and/or who's the artist? I'm going tonight and I want to know if I should bring a tube
