So, you can't even guarantee you'll get reserved seats both nights? You will be on the lawn one night?

Reminds me of baseball teams giving away packages for two games at a time ... one for a desirable team, the other for the Royals or Pirates. But you must buy both.

The hits just keep on coming.

I would guess there was a limit to how many seats they could reserve for fanclub members. So in some respects this allows more fans to have a fanclub seat for at least one night since they can essentially double up.

like i said, making us buy tix for both nites is retarded...and giving us GA seats for one nite adds insult to injury. been a member for almost 20 years...i aint sitting in the lawn for a show. too bad, i love the venue but it's a definite pass for me.

just noticed the details on the lawn seats. special fenced-off area in front for 10c members, but then the fence is removed once pearl jam comes out. i can only imagine the crush that will ensue at that point.

all this said, i'd love to go if i could.

I think Glen is a big name already. He starred in and won an Oscar for best original song for the movie Once. He's also the lead in both The Frames and The Swell Season.

They just added Thenewno2 (Dhani Harrison's band). Dhani and Joseph are 2/3 of FIstful of Mercy...so we can expect Ben Harper to be added shortly.

I'm really torn about this PJDW deal. I know this is my overzealous sense of entitlement but at this point I expect my low 10C number to get me a few perks, like actual seats. Besides the fact that my husband has a neurological chronic pain disability, can barely walk and cannot stand for long periods nor be jostled in a GA area, my mosh pit days are behind me and good riddance. It's a lot of money to travel to bum drymount Wisconsin to sit on the lawn, even if it is pretty countryside. Was thinking of doing one of the packages just to reduce the hassle factor but sheesh, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. The hotel across the golf course is going to fill up fast. The next hotel is 3-4 miles away, the other two about 15-20 miles away. Airfares are a biatch too. I'm trying to justify it as a last hurrah as they haven't been to Phoenix since '03 and it's getting harder to choose between traveling to see PJ and all the other places in the world I'd like to see within my meager 2 weeks vaca a year.

Whine over, pass the cheese. Basically I have a boatload of reasons to not go and only one reason to go. It's gonna be drymountin' awesome! <sigh>
Hopefully the poster(s) will be worthy of the occasion.
