Unread Message Notification

Hello! I've had 2 messages deleted by the sender and for the longest "2 unread messages" on top of the page have been there. What can I do?

If they're unread, there's nothing you can do to get them read by whoever you sent them to.

They were sent to me. The sender deleted them. There's a notification that I have unread messages but because they're deleted I can't read them.
