Callout thread of AlexRichards55.
Bought this from AlexRichards55.
I’ve been trying to reach him to discuss all this scuffing that wasn’t mentioned.
“ Near Mint “
He’s just reading my 3 messages and ignoring me.
Lame move by sending pictures only of the 4 corners behind mylar and hiding the condition issues.
Write me back ..:
Thank you

Looks near mint to me. Good luck.

I would never take pictures of sharp corners and totally skip the part where I tell the buyer it’s got a lot of scuffing.
I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and figure you wouldn’t either.
If someone sends you three messages after a trade, you respond.

Here’s my main message:
Was extremely cordial no?
Poster made it… ( Tuesday ) .
I don’t know how bud, but the poster made it without the sides getting damaged, it was packaged pretty poorly my friend. The poster on one side was sticking out of the craft paper but it didn’t move and hit the endcap luckily. It has some pretty substantial scuffing and a good sized line on the right. Definitely worth mentioning. I didn’t look at the pictures closely enough perhaps because I normally stay on my cell phone.
But I was surprised…
Looking back at the pictures it was only of corners, not where the issues are.
You gave me a solid price on this thing, but I was pretty disappointed on the condition.
It’s got a lot of scuffing.. I guess I’d grade it excellent perhaps? I know foil show every little issue, but this looks really handled.
Maybe some of the scuffing could’ve happened in the mail? I don’t know… Thoughts?
Thank you, Jim

I wouldn't call the condition "Excellent". It's unhangable in my opinion. Seller knew he was laughing all the way to the bank on this one. Seller is a scumbag for pulling this fudge.
Sorry man. I hope PayPal straightens you out.

Shoulda asked for more pics amirite. Also, in my experience, paypal generally dgaf as long as "something" is received.

Should just not trust anyone anymore.
So many twats like this who could care less about integrity. Never crosses their mind.
I mean this rarely happened 15 years ago, it happens all the time now. The Facebook stories are extensive… but these kooks seem to gravitate to me.
Yeah
Pictures…
He sent 5 or 6 and says it’s near mint.
Purposely takes close up corner pictures and hides the scratches and issues… never takes it out of the sleeve.
Not much you can do to dodge this donkey unfortunately.
Hope y’all write down his name.
He’ll steal from you and hide…

Was thinking about the cause of the damage --- slid into a dirty/used poly bag and while holding the edges?
