Hey Folks,
Long time collector, long time lurker, first time poster of posters. Apologies if I've missed something, but there appears to be no site 101 or New Members Tutorial. I've primarily joined for purchases/trading, but I'd love to shed the stigma of the 'n00b' label (as few respond to new members). Thanks in advance for the help. If no 101 exists, please consider this a formal request!
New Members Tutorial?
no 101 exists that i know of. ebeans is run totally by volunteers. if you want to make it better, donate some time and write up a 101. thats the best way to get things done. ask and you will be ignored...midnightparade wrote: ↑Sat Jul 09, 2022 3:56 pmHey Folks,

Don't listen to dat meanie. There's def an EB User Guide which is basically a 101. There's also a FAQ too.

doh. oh yeah, forgot about those.
It also helps to just post questions in the forum and field answers from other members.
Generally though, shedding the noob label is helped by posting in the forum and just becoming a more known entity around these parts. There's knowing the usual advice around buying/selling/trading (like using goods and services payments to have some level of protection) but otherwise things like offers/haggling can really depend on who you're dealing with, and becoming a more familiar/trustworthy name around these parts can help. Good luck.

Thank you all for your help and encouragement, esp. @codeblue! I look forward to making a 'name' for myself in all the right/positive ways in the weeks to come.
