He offered $50 on a $119 poster.
I pointed out EBay has fees and it cost more than that from the artist.
He couldn’t grasp the fact that I bought them from the artist a year or so after the show.

I tried to explain that a lot of the time artists simply keep some of the main run to sell without the whole AP thing. Explained that every poster I’ve commissioned was that format. Sperry, Masthay, Malleus, MacPhee… Zeb Love…

Yeah… 9 times out of 10 I would just ignore a $50 offer on a $119 poster.
For some reason I responded.
It was that time of night where I have a couple moments and I usually run through the news stories on my phone. So I wasted some time, but it was my time wasting slot of the day.
I was laughing through the process… it paid off… now y’all know to block him.

I had that happen once as well for the Obey / Cope 2 print. I had it listed for $525 and seller offered $150 asking me why he should pay 10X original cost. My response was to tell him that my price was around what they were selling for. I then removed the offer option on the listing. I asked him why he thought I should sell something for less than market to him. When the listing ended I did not relist. Happy to still have the print.

Your dude was way worse than mine. I didn't hear from the guy again.

This was probably close to 8 years ago now but he messaged offering original cost and asking why I thought I deserved more money than the hard working artist for the particular print I was selling. I blocked him. Fast-forward a couple years and ol' dave is whining on FB about how he is blocked from buying a Sperry from me on ebay and wondering why his money isn't good enough for me.
