My bad trade with Upseeker
So, how did this fiasco end?davethewave wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 1:50 pmLeft resolving it in his hands three days ago. All he has to do is refund an amount, partial or full without having to check with me. He's got full insurance, says it was sent without damage and I'm making it really easy to resolve without loss to me or him. Here are the dirt stains. I don't know it happened without bends or creases. I also asked him last time to resolve the original thread topic and sent him messages again to resolve/check in on both again.

What's the best way to handle a trade? Tried searching the forum, but no luck. Anyone have any good suggestions?
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

Yup just buy them from each other, then you can actually try and claim insurance if something goes wrong in transitGrateful69Phish wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 3:45 pmpaypal deposits - wrote that script for you all about 10 years agosidewaysscott wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 12:27 pmWhat's the best way to handle a trade? once I mentioned doing this with a member here on a trade, he's since went silent. Guess it was too good to be true. Plenty of red flags to begin with, but thought I'd entertain the idea. Perhaps he got scared or didn't end up wanting the trade, but pretty sure I know why.Grateful69Phish wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 3:45 pmpaypal deposits - wrote that script for you all about 10 years agosidewaysscott wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 12:27 pmWhat's the best way to handle a trade? Remember that post on trades you made. ( Great advice) Then I remember someone saying putting the funds with a third party like escrow, once posters arrive release the funds.
Your way is better just in case the third party goes awry.

Curious if Upseeker has any references for positive transactions recently? I notice he's listing a sweet Dave Hunter NRPS print but I'm gonna have to be in turnJBup's corner until I get confirmation that the seller has changed his ways and/or made amends with turnJBup. Thanks!
