I looked but can’t find it in the database separately and didn’t want to add a duplicate listing if there is, in fact, one already there. Aside from the fact that it seems some of the names were probably made up by those who added art, this one is part of this set:

There are listings for prints from this set in the database (like examples of the corrections above). Would be nice to have them put in the “series” or something. Probably too much work though. I will try and see what’s already there and what’s missing for the HPMs when I have another nothing-to-do evening.

I guess it makes sense to add the HPM and the part of the box set print as a “sub-listing”, ie like a variant, or just the HPM?

The release date in the listing is for the public reception for Shepard Fairey: 50 Shades of Black at Subliminal Project, the work is from 2011, don’t know if any were released prior to 2014. So please leave the release date as it is and change the year to 2011.

Both editions are from the same event, being 50 Shades of Black at Subliminal and both from the same year, 2012.

Do you think they are one and the same edition?

I found the following at the Subliminal event page:

Subliminal has two editions listed for the event, same size, same image, but different year, 12 and 13. The image for the 13 is, however, identical to the image listed at obeygiant, where it is also marked 2012.

Me thinks it’s one the same HPM edition. What do you think?

has the collage edition listed as 2013. Subliminal has it listed as 13 as well. The sig on the print shows 2012 and so does obeygiant (pics are identical at both places):



I would think it should also be listed as an “HPM” rather than “collage” edition, even if for the sake of consistency.

If you go to the original listing at https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mr-Brainwash-M ... 7675.l2557 (or if you follow the link in the EB price history and then click "See original listing" on that eBay page), you can then view the page source info by clicking (CTRL+U) (or right click on any open area on the original listing page to open a drop down menu and then select "view page source" from the drop down menu). In the page source info, you can see the actual final sale price if you search (CTRL+F) for "taxExclusivePrice" and look at the number next to it. Here, it is $3500.



In case you haven't used this method before, you can see it work on an actual "best offer accepted" sale by doing the same trick on the 2020-06-27 sale of the same print in the sales history (listed as having sold for $1988.25).
