why are there messages stuck in my outbox?

I'm trying to send a private message, but the message is stuck in my Outbox. I would PM an admin for help, but I can't get it to send =) Any help is appreciated.

Pms stay in your outbox until read by the recipient.

Pm me now and we'll test it, as there were problems earlier today.

I have not sent many, but they seem to stay in my outbox and don't make it to sent.

have tried several times thinking maybe i am offline, but not the problem.

It gets marked as sent when the recipient reads it.

I am a new member, and I've tried to PM a few members about prints for sale. One of my PMs has been sitting in my outbox for several days now.

Can someone shed some light, please?

I am brand new to this site, but I am having some problems. When I send a message about buying a piece the message stays in my outbox. Am I an idiot doing something wrong?

When you receive a message does it notify you at your normal email, or do you have to login before you see messages?

I am trying to get a Vedder/Klausman Chicago 08 print. I proposed to my wife at that show, and I would love to have it for a valentines day present. I know I am cutting it close.

This site is awesome.
