Add Comment: You know the story. The original first printing (OP-1) of this poster is a very rare Rolling Stones poster for shows scheduled on September 22, 1973 at Cardiff Castle. Posters were reclaimed after event was cancelled and very few original prints made it into the hands of collectors. This is an amazing work of art for an OP-4. The foil treatment on the edges, the lettering, the claws and the wings, makes this short-run version (only 230 in the world) a fantastic collectible. Each print has a corresponding and accompanying 4 x 5 COA card.
Printed on WestRock Tango C2S. This premium 92 bright Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS) paperboard is coated on both sides and is sturdier than coated freesheet cover—for printed pieces that feel substantial and high quality. Tango C2S offers reliable runnability, printability and consistency. This board is laminated with DuPont 92ga high clarity silver Met Pet to achieve an ultra smooth printing surface . The printing technique is called archival pigment printing. Reproductions made by swissQprint fit production level printers confidently into the Archival Pigment Printing scene, thanks to droplet placement having been perfected over the years. Specifically, it's about the combination of state-of-the-art print head technology with solid precision mechanics and accurate control systems.
