I’ve had to do 3 call out threads in 17 years… all of them were old members we all know.
Not fun.
I Bought a Sperry Stockholm Syndrome for 313.00 that arrived 1/10.
I explained that I was upgrading and not to send if it had any issues… I asked two times, stressing that it had to be “ perfect”.
Upon opening I immediately knew I’d been misled.
The poster was obviously stored in a tube.
Not stored in a tube for a while and it’s been flat for months…. It’s the curliest poster ever.
Like fighting a big flopping fish to get the ends down - curly.
I wrote back “ There’s no way this poster was flat a week ago. WTF? “
Upseeker “ Misunderstanding… I didn’t say it was flat “
Me “ I wouldn’t have purchased if I didn’t know it wasn’t in mint condition. You’ve been here almost as long as I have, of course I didn’t ask if it had been in a tube for 11 years.”
Upseeker. “ How about a refund of $100.”
Me “ Too generous… 50 is fine.”
3 days later…
Me “ Checking in…. “
Upseeker “ All good about to unplug for a month. Seriously. Peace “
5 days later
Me “ It’s not all good here. Please send the 50. I want to put this whole thing to bed”
7 days later I send a PayPal request and resent my PayPal address.
9 days later Upseeker “ I returned the 50 but you don’t have a PayPal account. “
12 days later
Me “ I’ve had the same PayPal account for 18 years… did you see the request?”
13 days later ( Monday ) He reads the message.
16 days later ( Today ) …… Nothing.
