For acid free sleeves used in portfolios, I use Goldline PP ones. I did a lot of research and these seem to be the best type. You can get PVC but I think the PP is better.

And as for that collectors programme, I've said before there is no way I am putting that on with my GF around. My 'stuff' is a pretty controversial point anyway...without people on screen with collections potentially the same size, or even worse...smaller than mine.

Just found a print still in a tube after the best part of a year.

Does anyone have any recommendations for places that flatten prints at a reasonable price?

Why don/t you grab some weights, grab a nice flat bit of perspex or smooth wood and place it under that for a while with the weights spread out? thats what I usually do when I get it out the tube

I use a firm called Hea-Vee Bookes , I find them quite easy to deal with and fairly cheap too.

Let it relax for a few days to a week before you stick the weights on it though.. Give the fibres a chance to relax.

From Source , I just happened to be looking in the right place at the right time ...although I didn't fancy my chances with there being as few as there were to be nabbed....but the gods were on my side this time.

Mind you at $320 it took a deep breath to write that email asking to have one

....but I'm glad I did.

Only got hit for £11 customs too ..which was about right for the price(?) ...but the extra £8 that Parcel Force whack on for doing their bastard job took it up to nigh on £20...

So all in all a good day for me.
