So us UK chaps subsidise the US fellas' postage? Boooooo to that idea!LeeKaye wrote:Just bump up the price of the print (fractionally) and lower the postage but keep it tracked. Swings and roundabouts, but the postage seems the sticking point for many, almost psychologically.

Hadn't thought about that, bollocks. We get a 'special' secret page with reduced rates.

Chuck Sperry does a universal postage cost , no matter where you are it's built into the print cost..
Chuck Sperry probably sells most of his prints domestically.

For all his other…erm… idiosyncrasies… Kevin Tong has always had ridiculously cheap international shipping. Probably for the same reason.

So, a Monday bump for this thread, just because it's Monday, and I'm bored...
Nothing much print related happening with me, just waiting for stuff to arrive. Any of you go for Saturday's Durieux and it's enormous postage costs? I liked it, but preferred the variant, which at $135 delivered, was a bit too rich for my blood.

I pressed the button after much ummmming and ahhhhing over the postage costs ...$51 !
More expensive than Obey even but at least they use UPS courier company so I can kinda see where the costs go.

Once again, it completely passed me by. I am not especially on the ball with a lot of this stuff. Mind you, I am supposed to be cutting back, so it's not all bad. I did have an impulse buy though, a print I didn't even know was being released. Not too expensive and it sold out pretty quickly. I got the email that it was released late at night, I only had my 3G phone and it was a nightmare, tried to cart, failed 3/4 times. I was on the verge of giving up, and try in the morning on a proper computer. (Showing my age as I find phones/tablets a pain to do stuff on.)
Anyway, enough pre-amble, it was this. And indeed, when I woke up it was sold out. So glad I kept on trying.

Not to fussy on this Laurent poster.
The bit where the water is around the bears just looks wrong to me and I can't unsee it.

Nah nothing for me. I was half tempted by some of the DKNG stuff at G88 but didn't pull the trigger. I did try for one of the Delort Nosferatu variants but hesitated and never got it carted. Again I was half tempted by the Whalen Robocop last week… but only half. Seems like a long time since I've bought something.
Sadly couldn't afford the sub for LDs transport prints so I'm just trying to keep them off my radar now.
