Hi guys, I need some serious dough to cover vet bills so listening to offers on my prints in my trades and welcome any framing projects, small mounts/frames can be sent in the post otherwise large frames need to be collected from South west London.

I've also got a collection of my original drill drawings I'm looking to shift, to browse them visit http://matthewpriest.tumblr.com £30 for small portraits, £60 for the okapi/mammoth +shipping, these are mounted onto linen mount board.

Feel free to PM me any enquires, any help will go along way to helping me and my cat.

I hope you all had a nice Easter,

Cheers

Can any UK members point me in the direction of some good framers that I can trust with my high value prints? Get very paranoid about it haha. Willing to travel too to get the job done right. Few heavy hitting stouts to frame in the near future!

Looking at getting fabric wrapped mats or suede too

All suggestions appreciated!

Where do you live? I got a commissioned painting done to full museum quality so obviously no corner cutting and it seems fine to me. Also a print done to full museum as well. He seems to know his stuff.

It's someone who drives around in a van to pick the art up. He should be making a London/M4 trip soon though he goes all over the country quite often.

Leekaye - is that Mr frameman you use?

I use Bramley framers in Guildford. Approx 15 mins out of London. They do all the stolen space framing and all of dfaces frames for his shows, all over the world.

Hey

I'm a long time forum voyeur not posted on this thread before. I've been collecting prints for only 1 1/2 years but build up quite a collection, now I need to store them. There was a convo a few pages back about A1 protectors and much bigger options but I'm looking for pretty much bang on 24x36 as I don't have a lot of room for oversized options. I was looking into protecting the prints for flat storage with polyester pockets from here https://www.preservationequipment.com/S ... r--Pockets has any one bought from here before. Not as cheap as bagsunlimited but less postage and no customs being in the UK.

I think I met a few people from this thread at Thought Bubble last year queuing for the mondo tables a bit too late and being disappointed about Olly Moss' empty table, ha.

Welcome!

The bags from the US have pretty much no excess on the 36x24". I got mine from a fellow UKer who had some spare (always worth a shout).

How many are you looking for?

Smith, I bought my storage solution from them, I just went the size up from 18x24 and a newspaper box. Works great. Gets pricey with the bigger sizes tho.

I've been looking for an answer to how to store my 24x36 prints for ages as the cost of a binder to import from the US is just too much. Checked out the archival polyester pockets, and would buy some but short on cash and i'm only looking for 3

Thanks so much, except I don't have a car nor the time to go into London anytime soon :( . Is there anyplace I would be able to just buy single polyester pockets as a means of temporary storage ( need sleeves anyway for a portfolio, had prints in the tubes way too long and desperate to take them out)
